Digital Sikshak: Empowering Nepali Teachers with Digital Skills

About Digital Sikshak

Digital Sikshak is an initiative under the Civic Engagement Project by the U.S. Embassy Youth Council (USYC), funded by the U.S. Embassy and supported by Youth Innovation Lab. The project is designed to provide practical, hands-on training to teachers across Nepal, equipping them with digital tools and strategies to make education more effective and engaging.

  • Train teachers in basic digital literacy, including operating computers and smartphones efficiently.
  • Introduce Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to help with lesson planning, grading, and presentations.
